This kind of demister has metal plate frames or edges. One of the popular applications of such demister is in industrial or cooking oil mist eliminating.

The frame plate thickness can be 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, etc. There will be crossing ribs on upper and lower side of the demister, when it has big size. We can see a layer of welded mesh on the top side of demister. Actually there is a same layer at the bottom, too. It is used to keep the core knitted mesh in position. As per customer drawing or request, we can also use crimped mesh, expanded metal mesh, etc.
